7/6/2017 never trust a poetwriters and poets are by far the most untrustworthy of people.
we just want something to write about, something to romanticize. we turn puddles into oceans, a glance into a hurricane, smiles into earthquakes, heartbreak into poetry. it all must be beautiful. a poet will come into your life, hunt you, hurt you, and parade around with your broken heart splattered across pages. “but its art” we will say. what you don’t know is that we're all paper and ink underneath our porcelain shells.
